Mezase Pokémon Master
~Opening to Pokémon, first season. I first heard this when I downloaded a movie file of the Japanese opening approximately a million years ago, and I fell in love with it hard. I still love it to this day. Catchy, upbeat, fast, and just...very happy. The strains of this song really just evoke the show for me. I think that's why the Symphonic Medley resounds so strongly with me.
And before you ask, yes I HAVE seen the flash videos fer both this and Hyakugojuuichi.

Rival!
~Second season opening! It's a little more downbeat than Mezase Pokémon Master, but still awesome. I haven't heard this one as much as the others (probably because I don't watch the Lugia movie very much where this is the opening), but I still like it. It has a nice feel to it, if that makes sense.

Pokémon Hara-hara Hara-hara Relay!
~If you thought it couldn't get any more hyper, here's da remix of Hara Hara Relay. This is really good, actually. It actually does remix da song quite a bit and change a buncha stuff. It looks like in terms of ending songs it went Hara Hara Relay, then Hara Hara Hara Hara Relay for five episodes, then back to the first one again. Hahaha that must have been an interesting time to be watching the show. My GOD this lady can talk FAST. It has less focus on da song, makes it kinda less cute and stuff, and more on da singer herself.

Boku No Best Friend E
~I really like this song, actually, which is weird since usually these kind of songs put me right to sleep. Something about it just...I dunno. It gets to me. It's just kind of one of those sweet songs in thanks for everything that your friends have done for you, and I'm such a Pokédork it makes me think of my Pokémon and get all weepy. wtf. thanks a lot self.
Big thanks to Myu-ri of the Temple of Mewtwo for telling me about this song and letting me download it from her site way back when. Also thanks ta Wolf Thunderdragon fer sendin me da lyrics as well. ~This is the opening song to a TV special released called...I forget, but it has to do with Raikou. Raikou and the Legend of Thunder I think, or something along those lines, anyway. This is a very energetic, opening type song, as in da vein of other Pokémon openings. Different singer tho.

Aratanaru Chikai (Acoustic Version)
~Acoustic version of above song, obviously. This is much more mellow than the above version. It's shorter too, tv opening length (hint hint, openin fer the special). ~First Advanced Generation opening! Interestin thing is that it's done by a guy! Very rare in terms of Pokémon songs. This is amazingly upbeat and stuff. Not quite da same as da other openins in this weird way. It...darn it, reminds me of somethin, but I can't think of what. It's pretty straightforward rock, but it's got some horns and stuff in it. Big thanks ta Raizy again fer this track!

~First Advanced Generation ending. This is REALLY COOL. This is TOTALLY different then most Pokémon music. It kinda reminds me of Cirque du Soleil and stuff. It's really really pretty, very flowing. It's got this extremely pretty guitar and stuff and it's just gorgeous. It kinda sounds like Wonderous Ocean from...from...frick, what was that show called? Record of Lodoss War. That's it. There's something so comforting and yet so sad about them all at once, and that really works with this song I think. I also really liked the video fer da original version of this song. Polka wo Dolka!
~Or is it Polka O Dolka? Second Advanced Generation ending, number 14 in total I think now. Catchy Pokémon music all around! It reminds me of um...Pokémon Ondo, kinda. Best part about da little video is not only does it include Ruby and Sapphire Pokémon, but also a delightfully gay bit of Meowth and Pikachu dancing. Meowth dips Pikachu lower, lower, LOWER, and then it's back ta normal. I swear, I'm not making this up.
Anyway, this is tv size fer yer convenience. You can thank Raizy again for this and the medley.

Challenger!!
~Someone gave me a link to a site (Fearow I believe, my memory is THAT BAD) that had da songs from da most recent CD available. So download I did! This one I believe is da second openin fer da Advance series. I see that da exclamation points at da end of titles have made a triumphant return tho.
Anyway, I like da basic melody of this, da chorus and stuff is cool, but fer some reason it feels like...somethin's missin from this. Like da main lyrics don't have da same energy as da rest of da song. So it sounds kind of strange, a little boring. I DO like da chorus tho, and it's pretty good stuff as usual.
