~Gekkani is a friend of Dowasure's from his past. He's real quiet and stuff. He has this weird form of Seasonal Affect Disorder where light depresses him, so he stays in da dark all da time. That's where those marks come from. At least, that's da current theory. ^_^o His marks look kinda like clouds, or as Tsukiyo put it, moonlight shadows. That's where he got his name. ^_^
Tsukiyo no Kaji
~Tsukiyo is Dowasure's other friend. She's hyperactive and only speaks in Japanese or Song Lyrics. ^_^ She got her tattoos when she was little and dyed her hair then too. She's with Dowasure in da insane asylum and gave Gekkani his name. She's neat. Here she is dancin in her namesake, a night of fire. ^_^

~This is some random idea that just occurred ta me while I was readin this list of Pokémon cliches, and it mentioned how yer mom is always happy ta stay at home while ya go wander through da potentially dangerous Pokémon world without protection. So I wondered what it would be like if some kid had his overprotective Mom with him. Voila! Ms. Byers and David.
I've already worked out some personalities fer em both, but da thing is I feel bad cause I can't work em inta anythin else I've set up. They're totally on their own. And I get that whole guilt trip about makin new characters without finishin my old one's stories, but I liked this idea so much I just decided ta go with it anyway. So Ms. Byers and David are set up in...what is it, Houen? Yes.
David resents his Mom comin with him but really has no idea how ta take care of himself. Since he's older (12) then most kids who set out, he kinda missed da whole Pokémon giving thing and so his starting Pokémon is one of his Mom's, a Shedinja. Ms. Byer's only trains ghost Pokémon fer some reason. Her Pokémon is a Sableye. Her Duskull is watchin their house while they're gone so that nothin bad happens ta it. Ms. Byers knows that her son wants ta be independent so she tries ta stay out of his battles, but sometimes she does give him advice when he doesn't ask fer it.
Why Ghost Pokémon?
~A good question really. As far as I've worked out, Julia's mom died of old age...or I think cancer. Something like that. She never really said goodbye cause she and her mom had an argument late in her life and she refused ta apologize, and her mom died without her. So Julia has these ghost Pokémon and raises them with this kinda subconscious hope that sometime they might help her contact her own mother. Yup.

~Hahaha, David resents her interference and stuff. As far as I can work out fer him, he wants ta find his Dad. His Dad left Ms. Byers when she got pregnant (thus the Miss) and she never really talked about him, except mentioning that she last saw him near that mountain with all the ghosts the name of which will soon come ta me I'm sure. Anyway, David didn't tell his mom that, she thinks he wants ta be a Pokémon Master. It's just his way of bein able ta get outta da house so he can find his Dad and all.

~Ms. Byers is kinda pudgy. I like that. She wears sweatpants and looks tired a lot. She's reminds me of my Mom, actually. She's got a few Pokémon...but they're all ghosts. Houen ghosts anyway. She's got a Duskull (watching the house), a Sableye (as her friend and fighter), a Shuppet (as her backup), and she gave her Shedinja ta David as a starter. When he finds out how hard they are ta raise he'll prolly give it back ta her, which I think she kinda expects. I don't think she really expects David ta go all da way, so she's just stickin with em till she thinks he'll get bored. Yup.
I like these two. I should do something with them.
