M-2 Specimen A is a mixture of blue and purple and broken, incomplete limbs. It has three arms, two of which are malformed and one is complete, only with balls of flesh hanging from strings of sinew from the fingertips. One of its legs is just a mass of flesh and tissue, and its right leg is the only limb that is properly constructed, although it shares the other arms balls of flesh on sinew. It has two tails, both of which lumped at the end like a Mews, and from its head is a long tube of flesh, resembling the tube that connects Mewtwos head to its body, only without the other connection. If it ever opens its eyes, they are like horrific holes.

M-2 Specimen A was the first in the M-2 Series. Because it was created from the fractured and incomplete DNA of Mew completely, it was missing several important organs and could not live longer then a few seconds. M-2 Specimen A died almost upon creation, given only a few moments of consciousness. Because they wanted to study why, M-2 Spec. A was stored inside a stasis tube and is kept to this day, undecaying, so that it may be studied.

Although M-2 Specimen A is clinically considered dead, it seems capable of bizarre activities, such as sending out frantic messages for help only audible to psychics, believed to be the sounds of its brain decaying, and the ability to converse on a limited scale. These kind of abilities make one wonder whether M-2 Specimen A is truly dead in the sense of the word, or only dead in a few ways. Either way, no one really understands A or how it works, and it floats in it's tube, alone.
