Ella   E

Ella E was your average trainer, excepting the fact she had no desire whatsoever to become champion. She knew Red well, actually, considering that Radic is her cousin. The only real goal she had during her quest was to get a Growlithe, her all-time favorite Pokémon. Although she told her parents she would try her best, she really was only out to get a Growlithe, and her decisions as a trainer showed this quite obviously. She chose Charles, her Bulbasaur, for Sleep Powder, and set off intending to get her Growlithe without too many complications. Her rival, Caleb, got a Charmander in response to her Bulbasaur. Things, however, did get complicated rather quickly when Ella E grew angry at her Bulbasaur for not performing as Growlithe would, and began to abuse it. Caleb likewise followed this path, getting angry at his Charmander despite it's best efforts.

Fortunately for the both of them, Ashstar intervened. She took Charles away from Ella E and forced her to learn the error of her ways, teaching her to care for her Pokémon, including the newly caught and raised Spearow BeefffPokémon O. Ashstar also took Caleb's Charmander away. Eventually Charles and Ella E made up, and Ashstar tagged along with Ella E until they reached the Pewter City Gym, where they ran across Kame and Kotake. The two told Ella E about Ashstar's infamous past, thus causing the girl to run off. Ella E defeated them and went after Ashstar, yelling at her and eventually ending the argument with a slap. Ashstar ran off, and Ella E left, feeling angry at being betrayed in such a way. Also, due to a plunge in the river against her will, Ella E got a stubborn kabuto attached to her left arm, which she named Static.

After a while Ella E found her way into Mt. Moon, where she caught Gogo the Geodude, ran into Conkista, a girl who spoke with Onix's, and then got caught by the Manachu. The Manachu bargained with her for a moment because of her strength and her relation to Radic. There she also found the Nyashock, which decided to come with her. She also found Eclipse, the Gencey who decided to come with her as well.

She managed to make it to the Cerulean Gym, fighting the leader, a boy named Max. She learned from him that Caleb had yet to pass by and gave Charmander's ball to him, which she had picked up when Ashstar ran away. He said he'd give it to him, and Ella E continued on her way.

At this point she ran across Colt, who challenged her to a battle. It turned out that Colt had a Growlithe, which meant that Ella E couldn't move from the sheer adoration of the thing. The Growlithe lept on her, distracting her, while Colt made off with all her valuables. Ella E wasn't about to be robbed so easily and made pursuit, finding Colt resting against a tree. He challenged her to a game of Pokémon Roulette, the stakes all or nothing. The Nyashock realized that the game was rigged and warned Ella E, thus prompting Colt to kick it angrily into a thorn bush. Ella E attacked Colt furiously, knocking him out, then, after recovering her Pokémon, rushed to the nearest Pokémon center, Vermillion, the Nyashock needing immediate care.

With Growlissa Once there, the Nyashock and her slept for a while before waking to darkness. Ella E found, to her horror, that the entirety of the Pokémon Center had been slain or captured, and whoever was performing the killings was coming after her. Luckily, she managed to grab the Nyashock and one other Pokémon and make her escape, just barely. The other Pokémon turned out to be an Eevee, which she named Boo. After this point, Ella E was constantly pursued by the killers who wanted to finish the job.

She ran into Caleb shortly afterwards and they traveled for a short time before Caleb mysteriously disappeared, and a boy named Monty appeared in his place. Monty proved to annoy Ella E to no end, but she let him come with her as they went to Neon City. There, she found a contest advertising great prizes and decided to join, not having much else to do. She dispatched all her competitors easily, winning a Porygon she named Facet and a Abra she named Warp, until Drak came up.

Drak used his Mewtwo and Ella E used Eclipse, who used it's maneuveur the Mother's Lullaby. Unbeknownst to both, this made the two Pokémon form a Mother-Child bond, and Eclipse refused to harm the Mewtwo, or let the Mewtwo come to harm, even at the risk of angering the Nyashock. The Nyashock was enfuriated by this and Thunderquaked the gym, nearly burying Ella E and the others with her. Forunately, the Mewtwo and Gencey lived, and with their help she, Drak, and Monty both made their way out of the broken place. The prize turned out to be the Mewtwo, but Drak couldn't bear to part with his lifelong companion and began to travel with Ella E as well.

At this point Colt showed up once again, his Growlithe again becoming a weak point for Ella E. The Gencey was ordered to attack him, and Colt, panicked, threw a knife at it, pinning it's paw to the tree. The Mewtwo was furious at this and, instead of killing him, decided to bind the boy to it so that he couldn't leave his sight, thus meaning that Colt had to come along with them as well.

Caleb showed up again and joined up with Ella E, amidst much bickering, and they began journeying again, Ella E still intent on getting her Growlithe. While sleeping, she was poisoned by a bug Pokémon, thus meaning the boys had to find a way to get her to safety. Reimia and Tashi showed up, angering Colt and confusing everyone else, but they vanished after being beaten, vowing revenge.

Later on the killer again showed up, trying to kill the girl, but the boys protected her desperatly, Caleb getting a large scar across his face for his efforts. The killer again escaped, however, and eventually the group made their way into the caves, searching for the Manachu in hopes that it could help Ella E in some way.

Once they found the gigantic beast, it refused to help them at all, until several things happened. Reimia and Tashi showed up, and Tashi ordered her Scyther to attack the Manachu, which resulted in the Pokémon being torn apart and eaten. Protesting from Reimia resulted in his arm being turned to stone up to the elbow, and the Manachu continued to refuse to help, having no reason to do so.

The killers followed Ella E down to the caves, revealing themselves to be Max and Kame, their informant as to where Ella E was going being revealed to be Ashstar. The climactic final battle ensued, Max and Kame being the winners, although the boys all revealed their intense desire to protect the girl. They loved her.

Max and Kame defeated them all and advanced on Ella E, who felt something in her change. She rose up, and Saph's Fire took over her body, giving her unmeasurable power. She dispatched Max and Kame and fell back, unable to move, and finally, as the boys managed to drag themselves to her, the Manachu agreed to help her, finding the entire spectacle amusing. They were teleported outside, and Colt gave Ella E his Growlithe, which she named Growlissa.

After this, the boys came to stay at Ella E's house, where more arguments ensued. Drak was kidnapped, and the rest of the household went out to search for him, Ella E leading the party. During this long search, they met up with Indigo, Kotake joined to find her sister, and Ella E's sister Atelli came along. Once they got to the PGRI, however, things didn't go as smoothly as planned, and they were all captured, Ella E being taken away as a hostage to get Drak to co-operate.

Currently, Ella E is in a stasis tube in the lab, still alive, but unaware of the world around her.

Ella E is a very strong girl. She refuses to let people push her around or tell her what to do, and once she sets her mind on something it's very difficult to change it. She can get fixated on one thing and never let go (such as Growlithes) and has a very short, violent temper. She doesn't balk at striking or showing this anger either. She and Atelli do NOT get along and are always constantly arguing. Ella E is, however, at heart a very compassionate person and cares very deeply for her friends and her Pokémon. She will defend them to her utmost ability, and refuses to let them get hurt. She hates people who lie to her, people who try and trick her, or people who think they're smarter then her. She also hates being patronized.

Ella E is in Howl of a Growlithe, Koinonayami, We Wish You a Merry #$#%IN' CHRISTMAS, Continuum, Shoukan, Get a Clue!, and Clothes Make The Man.

Ella E has been mentioned in Kenshin, Shoukan, Devotion, and others.
