Dr.Dowasure was created in a fanfic I wrote called Koinonayami. He was never really meant to be a main character in a way...I just wanted to give some of my scientists some names. But I always really liked Dr.Dowasure for some strange reason. ^_^ I don't know why, exactly. But here's some stuff I DO know about him.
Dr.Dowasure works at PGRI, which is da Pokémon Genetical Research Institute. He is a great inventor and has a brilliant theoretical mind. He is the one who practically created the cloning process that created Mewtwo (Or as Dr.Dowasure refers to it as, M-2 Specimen B.). But there are many ways in which Dr.Dowasure is NOT scientific.
Dr.Dowasure has a long-standing habit of writing on his right lab-coat sleeve. He does this constantly and WILL do it even if there is paper around him. He also has a habit of using the words "Fascinating" and "Amazing" a LOT. No matter HOW many times you tell him to stop, Dr.Dowasure can never remember.
Dr.Dowasure is left-handed. ^_^
Dr.Dowasure is incredibly forgetful. That's why he writes so much stuff down when he first hears it. If he thinks about it for too long, he'll most likely forget it in a few moments. (That's what his name means in Japanese, ya know. ^_^)
Dr.Dowasure loves Ice Cream. He also has no idea when enough is enough. ^_^ If he makes a major success, that means that for that day he'll eat Ice Cream until he gets sick. He's lost count of how many times he's done this and always forgets what happened the last time he did it.
Dr.Dowasure is slightly bullied by Dr.Kagakusha, a woman scientist. She finds him immature and annoying. Dr.Dowasure takes this in stride, only cowering slightly. He is never violent and never fights back.
Dr.Dowasure is exceptionally cheerful. Even in times of great stress, he always has a smile.
Dr.Dowasure actually CARES about some of the people he researches. He genuinely cares for Teishi (when he's hurt) and is also concerned about Drak, much more so then many of the other people in the PGRI.
If Dr.Dowasure is in a hurry, he gets clumsy. If he's stressed, he gets VERY fergetful. If ya keep pressuring him, eventually he won't be able ta remember his own name. ^_^o
When Dr.Dowasure tries ta think, he either plays with his ponytail or taps his head. If under stress, he starts hopping from one foot ta da other and talks ta himself.
Dr.Dowasure wasn't part of the torturing of M-2 Specimen B (Mewtwo). Da other scientists reported back ta him and told them what they found and Dr.Dowasure would cosntruct hypothesis' and stuff on it. He never actually directly hurt M-2 Specimen B.
Dr. Dowasure has a kind heart. He doesn't like ta watch things suffer. It makes him feel bad. If there is a reason that that suffering can't be lifted (i.e Teishi and da EMPE emitter) then Dr.Dowasure can alleviate some of his guilt. But he generally doesn't perform live experiements on things because he feels too guilty.
Most of his colleagues know him well enough that if they told him what they REALLY did (i.e M-2 Specimen B) Dr.Dowasure would refuse to work on the project anymore. Therefore, Dr.Dowasure is given the information and never told exactly where it came from. Dr.Dowasure is generally clueless about the true cruelty that goes on right around him. That's probably why he's so cheerful.
I might as well describe him, if his pics aren't clear enough, he has long black hair that hangs down his back inna long, unkempt ponytail. It's tightly bound, however, and doesn't come out easily. He wears large glasses and has big brown eyes, eyes that are usually curious and bright. His hair that managed to escape the ponytail hangs down in his face, yet usually not in his eyes for some reason. He wears a labcoat with writing on the right sleeve and the pockets are bulging with notes and other things he shoves in there during the day. He's thin, about 5'9, and wears normal jeans underneath his labcoat. ^_^
More info! ^_^ Prof. Denka has taken it upon himself that Dr. Dowasure is like a small child that needs guidance. So, inna way, Prof. Denka adopted him, mentally. He keeps tryin ta get Dr. Dowasure ta stop his bad habits, like writin on his sleeve, losing control over ice cream, forgettin things, stuff like that. He's very stern with him and thus Dr. Dowasure becomes very nervous and withdrawn when he's around. He also gets self-concious, some of da only times he does that.
On Cyrus...
Dr. Dowasure was involved in da theory behind Cyrus' creation and knew that Cyrus was created. He, however, did not know what happened to him. He had no knowledge of how Cyrus was tortured much like Mewtwo and how when Cyrus had outlived his usefulness, was taken outside of the PGRI and shot. Or at least, was attempted to be shot. Cyrus escaped. None of this information ever reached Dr. Dowasure and the only things he does know about Cyrus is the preliminary information about his personality, such as his anti-sociality, smoking and drinking problem, and other things. The others told Dr. Dowasure that Cyrus was put to sleep peacefully or was placed in suspended information, but never fully told Dr. Dowasure which one was true. Dr. Dowasure had no reason to suspect this information and simply trusted it, writing down both possibilities and promptly forgot about it. Therefore, Dr. Dowasure has no idea why Cyrus would hate him or blame him for pain he had no idea was inflicted in the first place. He views Cyrus with fear and mistrust, considering the attempts Cyrus has made on his life.

So far, that's all I pretty much know about him. ^_^ When I write more, that means I learn more. ^_^ So when I write more, I'll come back and update this page. ^_^
