Colt's past remains somewhat unknown. A former Team Rocket member, Colt left for undisclosed reasons. He told Ella E a story that he later admitted was false, so it is unknown as to what exactly happened to Colt. He refuses to talk to anyone about it, so it has remained a mystery so far.

Colt met up with Ella E during her quest for a Growlithe. He wasted no time in stealing her Pokémon, using his own Growlithe as bait, then challenging her to a rigged game to win them back. Unfortunately, the Nyashock interfered, so Colt was left behind as Ella E went off to take her Nyashock to the hospital. Later on, he encounted them again, this time with the company of Drak, Monty, Caleb, and the Mewtwo. A bad decision on Colt's part ended up in him harming Eclipse and thus almost getting Mewtwo to kill him. Fortunately for him, Mewtwo was instead convinced to bind Colt to him, so that the boy was unable to leave his sight. This gave Colt enough time around Ella E to eventually fall for her, enough time around Caleb to intensely hate him, and enough time to make fairly good relations with Monty and Drak. Colt's arrogant and opinionated personality makes him hard to get along with.

Later on, they met up with Reimia and Tashi, twins who knew Colt somehow. It is unclear what their exact relationship is, but Colt hates them intensely.

Anyway, Colt proved himself throughout the entire adventure to be steadfastly devoted to his friends. He risked his life for them all on multiple occasions, his strength and speed helping them through various difficulties. Colt is generally strong and rather silent, preferring the direct approach to anything rather then subtlety. He dislikes talking about his Team Rocket heritage. Eventually he gave his Growlithe to Ella E, who christened it Growlissa. He now lives with Ella E and the others in her house.

Colt is amazingly stubborn but also quite strong for someone his age. He's protective of his friends to a fault, even Caleb to some extent. Colt hates Caleb intensely because the shorter boy constantly rubs his past in his face, or at least what he thinks is his past.

Colt is good friends with both Monty and Drak. He likes Monty's generally gregarious nature and likes Drak's quiet, reserved manner as well. He can often be very clumsy in relating with other people and does not know the exact laws of society.

Later on, Colt would get roped into helping rescue Drak from the PGRI. He blames himself to some extent for Drak's capture. Currently after a large explosion, Colt has been incapacitated and is being taken care of by Prof. Denka. Colt is in The Howl of a Growlithe, Koinonayami, Get a Clue!, Devotion, Shoukan, and Scars.
