Description: Clegencyana's the "positive" evolution of Genceys, the evolution with a pure, untouched Moonstone. They are larger, with bigger, soulful eyes and larger wingspans, fading beautifully from Gold to Silver. At their evolution, the ring halo that the Genceys sported shifts to a circlet of light, which dims or brightens depending on the Clegencyana's mood or how hard it's concentrating. This floats above their head as well, seemingly with its own power. The horns lengthen somewhat and become sharper, and the tail flattens down to skin along bone, and the end becomes a sharp barb, also with a small circlet of light. This sharp edged tail is used for some of the Clegencyana's rare physical moves. The Clegencyana's front paws meld together and become useless, unable to hold almost anything. The Pokémon instead uses its more graceful and long feet to grasp things, or its prehensile tail. The legs become longer, more powerful, and its chest grows a thick layer of silver fur. Its fur on a whole gets somewhat longer, especially around its face and head, and its wings nearly double in size. Its wings are feathered and, unlike the Gencey, are soft and easy to bend.
The Clegencyana's almost overwhelmingly angelic appearance (despite a few demonic additions) is the source of many of the "angel pokémon" rumors and its presence is considered to be good luck. However, since not many people can connect the graceful, elegant, and beautiful Clegencyana to its smaller, fluffier, and weaker counterpart or do not want to spend the time raising the Gencey, Clegencyanas are far from common.
A Clegencyana's voice is developed far beyond the Genceys mere capabilities, and its songs have the ability to drive the listener mad or make them obey their every wish. Its previous songs gain far more power, although the Clegencyana keeps its predecessors dislike of battle and training. It is easy to hurt this Pokémon's ego or self-esteem, and then they refuse to do anything. Regular training regimens do not work on such gentle creatures.
Clegencyanas live in a society, which the Manachu protects, that allows them to make laws and best decide how to go about things. The Council is almost entirely headed by Waruiyana, as they are more logical then the overly emotional Clegencyana, and they decide things with a calm, logical air.
Clegencyanas get upset easily and are extremely emotional, feeling the pain of others heavily. They hate pain in all forms, which is why almost none are around when the Manachu tortures its prisoners, and a lot of their later moves revolve around healing others. One of their later moves, it is said, in fact reduces the Clegencyana's hit points permanently by one in order to rejuvenate the rest of the fallen team completely, PP included.
Clegencyana, unlike the flighty Genceys, choose to mate for life usually, as the mating process entails the two forming a psychic bond. They have one to two children, and although they follow the same pattern as the Genceys in a certain time of year for mating, they are more refined and dignified about it and are not quite as frantic as the Genceys appear. However, they are also emotional and easily provoked at this period. A Clegencyana will almost NEVER breed with a Waruiyana, as both species are directly opposed to one another in beliefs and such, and such pairings are not regarded well. Although at times there have been such Warui-Clegen couplings, the children have never been seen as the couple have been driven out from the Clegencyana's society. Although they are normally quiet, gentle, accepting creatures, such unions are the one thing that can truly rile them. A Clegencyana that loses its mate is no longer able to produce children and will leave the flock of its own volition for the mating period and will return later after the period is over. Such barren Clegencyana, often the sightings of the "angel" Pokémon reported, are truly pitiful, as they are often swamped by depression. They are also the most likely to be caught.
Clegencyana are easy to raise, not so easy to train. They love to help and love people, and especially love positive attention. There are no changes during the mating time, unlike the Genceys, unless other Clegencyana are near. They love cheese and can easily be lured away from their flock by their adoration of it.
Clegencyanas have been in Radic and Red, Continuum, Howl of a Growlithe, A Puppet Without Strings, Childlike, and Desperate Times.
Clegencyanas been mentioned in Nemo Me Impune Lacessit and others.
