Violet found her Pikachu on her first few steps out into the world, and managed to catch it by what seemed to be pure luck. Ever since then, she has lauded the Pikachu as the best thing that ever happened and the best Pokémon in the entire world, which Red was forced to teach her wasn't true. However, although Red's Zapdos nearly killed the Pikachu, it never seemed to get over the god complex Violet built for it. Buzzaki is selfish, egotistical, and believes itself to be the best Pokémon on earth. It hates everything except itself, and views other Pokémon, particularly "ugly" Pokémon, as inferior. Buzzaki is cruel, doesn't mince words, but does care about Violet a great deal. It is also one of the first to pick up on Radic and Red's Relationship. It HATES Nova.
