~Okay, I got a note from someone who mentioned this and I was totally excited. "Alright!" I thought, "A new Ierukana for the Ruby/Sapphire Pokémon!"
Sadly, no. This is just a remix of da original Pokémon Ierukana fer Red and Blue. Not only that, the guy who sings this has a strange voice. It's hard ta describe it really. His voice just gets on my nerves after a while. That and da part with Parasect (da most IMPORTANT PART!) got a weird overhaul that also bugs me.
Buuuuuut on da bright side, this IS a remix of da original Ierukana and I love that thing ta death. It's cute and happy. If only this guy didn't sound like such a dork.

Aha! Hexa Typhlosion sent me this one. It's da Pokérap in Cantonese, or so I would assume. Most of da time it just gets dubbed over (da english one I mean, I haven't heard a single version that's dubbed over Ieru Ka Na) but this one is totally different. It's not based on Ieru ka na OR the English one. It's a category on its own. It's rather neat. A little bizarre, but still pretty cool.

This track (someone just emailed me) is actually from da Lati movie. Anyway, this is rather mellow and kinda fades in, which makes me wonder about it. Either way, I don't think it's particularly bad but I don't find it amazingly unique either. It's just kinda there. It reminds me of...god, there's this other Pokémon song a lot like this one...maybe Challenger...no...darn it, this is gonna drive me nuts.
Actually, now that someone has mentioned it's from da Lati movie, I can totally recognize it now. It plays when Satoshi is playing with Latias and Latios in their Secret Garden, appropriately enough. Wow. What a trip. And apparently it's sung in English! I didn't even notice.

Utau Pokémon Zukan ~ Normal Pokémon Part 2
~Okay, somethin of a story here. I've always loved Normal Pokémon Part 1, but I always had that niggling thought in da back of my head about whether or not it was da only one. I never heard or found any other Zukans. Did they get bored? Did they just not finish it? What's the dillyo?
Anyway, I got an email recently from someone who mentioned I didn't have May's image song, da songs from Pikachu no Fuyuyasumi (which I just learned the existence of), and the OTHER THREE POKéMON ZUKANS. So da search began ta find da missing pieces of a song I've had fer years now. Surprisingly, it wasn't too difficult. I found em fairly quickly.
Anyway, this part of the Zukan is somewhat more sinister and serious sounding then the first part. It's got a male singer instead of that girl singer, but it's still totally awesome. Especially fer Kentauros, Garura, and Porigon. I especially adore Porigon da tempo change fer Porigon.

Utau Pokémon Zukan ~ Mushi Pokémon Part 1
~Imagine my delight at finding out that da other two Zukans were fer BUG POKéMON! Which means PARASECT EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Anyway, this one more resembles Normal Pokémon Part 1. Da girl comes back and it's really upbeat and happy again. Actually, da girl and da guy trade off here. It's a pretty neat effect. Especially on Butterfree. Kyatapii is adorable. And Kokuun and Toranseru just crack me up.

~I loooove this song. It's so pretty. My first thoughts were that this was da song that played when Pikachu left in da Japanese version, but after I found out what O-yasumi means (goodnight) I think it's more of a lullaby. It's like a lullaby anyway. I really really like it. It's pretty and slow and then speeds up.

~Imakuni?, Raymond, and Kobayashi once again. This is a slow kinda song and it's very cute. It almost reminds me of Pokémon Ierukana? in how it has Pokémon names thrown in there. It almost reminds me of that game where ya'd say one thing, then someone else would say that thing and then another thing, and it went on until someone fergot da beginning. I'm sure it's a variant on that.

~Big thanks ta Krissy fer this one too! This is a lot like Umi in that it's done ta a track from da game. Specifically, da openin music and stuff where ya see da Nidoran and Gengar fightin. It's sung ta that theme too. It's kinda weird. There's a male singer and a female singer, and da sheer fact that they're singin this theme makes it kinda funny unintentionally. They really get inta it. Hee hee. "Pokemon MAAAAASUTAAAAAAAA". Hee hee. It's still rather bizarre. But kinda neat inna weird way.
Aha! Someone emailed me and told me that this is actually song by Musashi and Kojiro! Haha, that explains a lot.
Ta complicate matters, someone else emailed me and said that the female singer is Rika Matsumoto, the voice actor for Satoshi. I have no idea who to believe. YOU DECIDE.

~Now this one is a weird one. I like da melody and stuff, but I have no idea what this song is about. I thought maybe this was da new Ierukana, but its too short. And it has this huge space of blank music at da end with no singing. I'm not sure what this is. It's confusing. But it's got a catchy little riff and it's cute.

I make myself feel better by remembering that most of da peeps who download these tracks won't remember where they got em either. That may be a slightly bald-faced lie, but ANYWAY god I'm tired.
These Fuuyuuyasumi (I can't remember how many u's, it's all blurry) songs all have this nice Christmasy type sound, which is neat. It could just be that I have a weakness fer Christmas songs. This one has a happy feel to it and of course, sleigh bells. Sleigh Bells=Christmas fer all intents and purposes. I like this one a lot, it reminds me kinda of Challenger, except Christmasy and with more kids singing it.

~Ah, a kind person from the Pocketmonsters group on LJ sent me this. So much love for them I have! This page couldn't grow without other people's help, mainly cause I'm lazy.
Anyway, I found out about this when I found out about da other Zukans, and I was terribly curious. I wanted da music, and they sent it!
This one has da same basic melody as Natsuyasumi Fan Club, except just changed around just a bit. It's like a remix kinda. It's catchy and cute and instead of Moms singing, it's Dads, which makes me crack up cause they sound so serious. All in all, it's cute and interesting.
